
The Cox Cleantech Residency is an intensive program designed to bridge the gap between applied research and venture-ready companies.
In partnership with gener8tor and the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub, we provide emerging founders with a curated curriculum, hands-on mentorship and access to critical resources to help them launch their businesses.
This program is a potential pathway into the Cox Cleantech Accelerator and the broader Atlanta cleantech ecosystem.

This program supports founders and researchers ready to move cleantech innovations out of the lab and into the market.

University Spinouts
You’re bringing cleantech research from institutions like Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory, or other Southeast universities and are ready to commercialize (TRL 5–6)

Corporate R&D Projects
You’re developing cleantech innovations inside a corporate lab and exploring a path to spin out as an independent venture

Garage Innovators
You’re an independent founder with a validated prototype and are ready to turn it into a scalable startup

Scaling-Ready Startups
You’re an early cleantech company (TRL 7–8) preparing for rapid growth and future accelerator or investment readiness
