Creating a path to zero waste by eliminating landfills

Transforming Heaps of Trash into Clean Energy

Every ton of garbage in a landfill creates more than two tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) in the form of methane, which is 84 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Sierra Energy is working to eliminate landfills by turning garbage into renewable energy. Through its propriety waste gasification technology, FastOx, Sierra Energy is reducing the carbon footprint of local municipalities and governments – one pile of waste at a time. Household trash, hazardous waste, tires, medical waste, construction and demolition materials can be converted into energy safely, responsibly, and without burning.
